In this technology world, people are widely use modern electronic devices.

For that
reason, “are tweens ready or not for cell phones?” becomes the top of conversations
among adults. Some people have an outlook that cell phone can help daily lives of
both parents and children to get easier. Conversely, some others assume that it is
better for tweens to wait using cell phones and it will help to fill needed
lifeskill in their early lives.
First of all, passage B is completed with information from reliable source.
It says kids before age 16 have high curiosity and energy. Therefore, giving them
permission to use cellphones freely can lead into trouble if not overseen by
adults. The writer of passage B also mentioned about the right age to use cell
phones and it is easier to learn more lifeskill such driving at tat age. In
contrast, the writer of passage A states that children in the age of 10 are right
age to give cellphones generally. Thus, passage A has a general view that cannot
make an exact fact while passage B is stated with the source from a reliable
source.
For the second, the writer of passage B convinced that a false sense of
security may lull parents .That sense will lead into the situation when parents
become careless about their children. On the other hand , passage A opposes that
tweens can contact their parents at any time and that gives a sense of empowerment
and their parents a feeling of security. On that point, passage A states illogical
informations and passage B is reported with more realistic consequences.
For the last , passage B acknowledges that giving tweens cellphones anytime
can also hurt them mentally. Children can get access to all frightening, dangerous,
and inappropriate site on the internet, with no parent nearby to monitor their
activities.The most worrisome aspect of giving cell phone to tweens is the rise of
“cyberbullying” or “text bullying” . The writer of passage B also claims with
facts from study a researcher over 90% of children use their cell phones t text or
go onto the internet and 14 to 19 percent of children reported being victims of
cyberbullying. On the other side, the writer of passage A says that children can
independently walk to school from home and play at the playground on heir own
without parents in their early ages. So, passage A includes unacceptable point of
views to grow children up while the writer of passage B claims with relatable
facts.
To sum up, by weighing up both sides of argument, readers can consider that
there are more harmful effects rather than beneficial from giving cellphones to
children in their early years. Passage A by Deborah Pendergast offers a few
unacceptable informations and the passage written by Linda Sidner states more
relatable sources , realistic evidences and marshalling facts that are ultimately
convincing.
