A Guide To

Global Credit Card

Hey there,

We are thrilled to have you on board with us. Experience the


power of zero forex markup on all your international transactions,
a high acceptance rate in more than 150 countries, the
convenience of card-blocking for hotel and taxi transactions,
complimentary lounge facility at select international terminals
across India, and much more.

We have compiled a few things that our users usually ask


us after they order a Global Credit Card. Hope this helps!
Tracking your
card delivery
The AWB Number (tracking ID)
will be available on the app in 1- 3
working days after you order the
card. You can track card delivery
updates on your app.

The card is delivered in about 3 working days to big cities and in


3- 7 working days to smaller cities.

Things to note
before using your card
For your safety, the international and e-commerce channels
(ECOM) are locked by default for your safety. You will need to
unlock the relevant channels before using your card. You can do
this from the “Card Settings” section in your Niyo Global app.

Activate your card

Step 1: In the app, select Credit Card from the bottom bar

Step 2: Select Card Settings

Step 3: Select the Reset PIN option

Step 4: Enter the security details (DOB and OTP)

Step 5: Set your PIN and your card will be activated


Enable International Transactions
Step 1: In the app, select Credit Card from the bottom bar

Step 2: Select Card Settings and then Card Locks

Step 3: Enable the toggle for international transactions

Change Card Limits


Step 1: In the app, select Credit Card from the bottom bar

Step 2: Select Card Settings and then Card Limits

Step 3. Edit the limits as per your preference

Important notes:
1. Your card can be used to make card swipes and Tap & Pay
transactions for in-store purchases, online transactions (ECOM), and
ATM withdrawals.
2. Your credit card has multifold uses:
- Make seamless payments for online purchases from Amazon,
Flipkart, etc.
- Save card details for quick payments on Uber, Grab, Euro Car, etc.
- Pay for local transportation globally with city buses, London
Metro, Thai Metro, etc.
- Make deposits for hotel, and car bookings without the amount
getting deducted upfront

3. While making any international transaction (card swipe or ATM


Withdrawal), if you are asked to select between INR and the local
currency, please select the local currency to avoid extra charges.
4. Your card will be blocked if you do not set PIN or activate the card
within 30 days of issuance.
Increasing
your credit limit
You can increase your credit
card limit by creating additional
fixed deposits (FDs).

Step 1. In the app, select Credit Card

Step 2. Under the option Fixed Deposits,

Tap the Add FD to increase limit button

Step 3. Enter your preferred FD amount and Nominee Name

Step 4. Swipe the Pay button to book the FD

You can use your credit card limit for all online payments (ECOM),
on swiping machines (POS, Tap & Pay), and ATM Withdrawals.
Please note that once money is added to the card, you cannot
transfer the amount back to your savings account.

Using your card at ATMs


Your monthly ATM withdrawal limit is
the same as the sum total of all your FDs
0% interest charges on your ATM withdrawals
(similar to swipe and online transactions). 3% interest
is applied only in case of delayed dues clearance.
Paying the bill
You can pay the bill in your app
using your savings balance.

Your billing cycle is a set of 30 days.

You can only pay the “Outstanding Amount”


towards your credit card bill, not more than that.

You can select the date you want your bill to be generated and
you will have 15 days from the bill generation date to pay your
bill. For example, If you select the 1st of every month, then your
November bill will be generated on the 1st of December and you
will have till the 15th of December to pay it.
In case of a late payment, you will be charged 3% monthly
interest (36% annually) and a late payment fee of ₹150 + GST.
This will also lower your credit score.

No annual maintenance charges.

No charges on your online transactions.

For ATM withdrawals, a fee of ₹500 or 2.5% of your


transaction amount, whichever is higher, is charged
per withdrawal. The bank whose ATM you use may
also charge a fee.

please refer to the Schedule of Charges.

Using lounge access
Your Niyo Global account offers
one complimentary airport
lounge access per quarter per
user (not per card) at select
international terminals in India.
You can check the in-app
Lounge Pass to claim it.
