OVERVIEW

The project is being developed by Shrem Airport Hotels Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of the
Shrem Group, and is slated to open as the Fairmont Shrem Hotel in Marol,
Maharashtra. Accor Hotels will handle the hotel's hospitality management services.
One hotel structure would be constructed as part of the project, which is estimated to
cost INR 558 crores, at CTS No. 1405 (part) in Village Marol, Andheri (E), Mumbai.
There will be three basements, one ground floor, and eleven above floors in the hotel
structure.

PROJECT DISCRIPTION

A hotel is a place where people can pay for temporary housing. In the past, basic
lodging was limited to a room with a bed, a cupboard, a small table, and a washstand.
Today, most accommodations include modern amenities like air conditioning or
climate control and suite bathrooms. A mini-bar with snacks and beverages, a safe, a
television, an alarm clock, a telephone, and amenities for brewing tea and coffee are
further typical hotel room features. Jacuzzi baths, twin-sink vanities, bathrobes and
slippers, and a pillow menu are examples of opulent amenities. Bigger hotels might
offer extra amenities for their guests, like a business center, childcare, conference
spaces, fitness centers, swimming pools, and social function services

AIM

The primary goal is to create a hotel design that is completely functional without
sacrificing style or amenities.

• To make the most of the site's views and abide by all rules stipulated by the
site.
• To establish effective service networks while adhering to the strictest
hospitality industry standards.

NEED OF PROJECT

There is a strategic and practical requirement for a five-star hotel close to the airport
in Mumbai. For the convenience of travelers—especially those with busy schedules or
professional commitments—being close to the airport is crucial. Such a hotel would
satisfy the discriminating needs of both domestic and foreign guests while providing
an opulent and comfortable stay. Mumbai's reputation as a major financial and
business center is further enhanced by the presence of an upscale hotel close to the
airport, which provides an excellent location for conferences, business meetings, and
other events. This advantageous position promotes economic growth and strengthens
Mumbai's standing as a global city by drawing business tourists and improving the
city's hospitality infrastructure. Therefore, a 5-star hotel near the airport in Mumbai
is not just a luxury amenity but a crucial element in promoting tourism, business
activities, and the overall development of the city.

SCOPE

To build the five-star hotel complex's services and facilities in a way that would serve
guests most effectively and to create the ideal atmosphere so that guests will want to
return time and time again.

LIMITATIONS

The study will only specifically focus on lodging options close to airport amenities.

VALIDITY & FEASIBILITY

The venue is in Marol, which is conveniently adjacent to the Mumbai Airport and
Metro Station. When combined, all of these areas form a highly major economic hub
because of the high foot traffic in these regions. Its surroundings have undergone
development. The region provides all necessary services, a robust road network, and
electricity. As the number of people who visit, work at, and support the commercial
complex rises, the planned project will result in an expansion of the social
infrastructure.

The Situated in Marol, the location offers convenient access to Metro Station and is
near Mumbai Airport. The site irregular in shape and is surrounded by commercial
buildings having 12m wide road in front of it.
