Pro Vice Chancellor (Academics) UPDATING STUDENTS PROFILE & PARENTS DETAILS ON AMIZONE

For the overall development and grooming of the students and for continuous monitoring of their performance it is very essential that their parents are also involved in the process. Many a times need is felt to have correct emails id of the parents so that they can themselves login to Amizone and monitor the progress of their wards and keep a track of their performance.. However most of the times it is observed that some students act in an irresponsible manner and forward to the Institutes/University with misleading contact details of their parents specially email id/mobile numbers. As a result the University is unable to provide to the parents login details of the Amizone or contact them directly. Respected Founder President has also expressed his grave concern over this matter. Hence it becomes of colossal importance for the University to have up to-date contact details of the parents of all the students of Amity University. It has now become necessary that the institutes must monitor and certify that the contact details of the parents updated by the students on Amizone is authentic. Contact details of each student will be verified at the institution level by deputed Programme Leaders, faculty & members of staff in the following manner: 1. Students are required to update the contact details of their parents on Amizone including the residential address, residential & mobile contact numbers and email ids. 2. Verification of the permanent address of the students will be done from the Original Voters ID, Passport, Ration Card, Aadhaar Cards or the latest utility bills (electricity, telephone etc.) of the parents to be done by the staff/faculty assigned by the HoI. 3. Verification of the contact number ie residential contact number & mobile number will be done by the telephone bill, mobile bills of the parents to be done by the staff/faculty assigned by the HoI. 4. The Program Leaders or the staff assigned by the HoI will then verify the email ID of the parents by contacting them on the verified phone number. 5. After the process of verification of the contact details of the parents is completed then the profile of the student on Amizone will be locked and any changes thereafter will be permitted only through the approval of the HoI & with the documentary proof.

If it is found that any student has given incorrect information then strict action must be taken against him/her by the HoI. Students are advised to bring these documents in original after they come back from the Autumn Break as most of the PG and outstation students are expected to visit their home during this period. This exercise of the verification/updating of the contact details of the parents will be completed by the institutions latest by November 5, 2011 as the end semester examination in most of the institutes are starting from November 14, 2011. In case, the students fail to bring these documents for verification then they will not be issued Examination Admit Cards for the current semester end term examinations.
