We believe that learning is a necessary, innate, continuing, and lifelong process.

As future teachers,
we hope that everyone can learn and that reasonable expectations that challenge all learners are
maintained. We must also be able to express our enthusiasm for learning and see all interactions as
chances to teach and learn. We also believe that learning is a process of making sense of the world,
thus we should be concerned with understanding development and acknowledge that concepts are
built and subject to question or revision. We must identify and adapt to individual variances and
learning styles since learners are unique and accountable for their own learning. We, too, must show
concern and understanding for each learner, as well as include and optimize the participation of
students with various skills and backgrounds.Conducting it is an advocacy since the primary purpose
of it is to improve school practices and solve classroom-based teaching and learning related issues
to find applicable ways and means to address existing or present issue that usually bother
practitioners’ execution of their job.A virtual learning environment is an online-based platform that
offers students and professors digital solutions that enhance the learning experience. Unlike a virtual
classroom, which is meant to replicate and replace the physical classroom environment for distance
learners, a virtual learning environment harnesses technology to supplement an in-class experience.
Classroom management is the process by which teachers and schools create and maintain
appropriate behavior of students in classroom settings. The purpose of implementing classroom
management strategies is to enhance prosocial behavior and increase student academic
engagement.A lesson plan is the teacher’s compendium of what students need to learn and how it will
be done effectively during the class time. It also involves designing and incorporating appropriate
learning activities and strategies to obtain substantive feedback on student learning. A well-
constructed lesson plan prepared by a teacher for a particular lesson allows him/her to enter the
classroom with more confidence and a greater possibility of having engaging activities that will result
in a meaningful learning experience with students.Delivering lessons, selection and utilization of
various Digital Apps and Web Conferencing Apps enable the learner to gain competence in preparing
digital instructional materials that are appropriate to learning content. Future educators must consider
the aspects of using ICT both as a learning tool within teaching process and as a tool used by
learners for their assigned work and learning-related actions.Grading system is a system that
educators use in a particular institution to evaluate each individual student’s performance and
learning. Grading can include letter grades, percentages and even a simple pass/fail. Grades can be
attached to physical activities like writing assignments, lab work, projects, reports and tests. In
DepEd, all grades are based on the weighted raw scores of the learners summative assessments.
These summative assessment can be classified into three components, namely, written works (WW),
performance task (PT), and quarterly assessment These three will be the bases for grading. The
nature of the learning area defines the way these three components are assessed. For Kindergarten,
checklist and anecdotal records are used instead of numerical grades.

We believe that learning is a necessary, innate, continuing, and lifelong process. As future teachers,

Action research is a dynamic process that is categorized under applied research. It is focused on
solving practitioners’ local problems wherein an action plan plays a significant role in the execution of
such work (Johnson & Christensen, 2020). Conducting it is an advocacy since the primary purpose of
it is to improve school practices and solve classroom-based teaching and learning related issues to
find applicable ways and means to address existing or present issue that usually bother practitioners’
execution of their job.

A virtual learning environment is an online-based platform that offers students and professors digital
solutions that enhance the learning experience. Unlike a virtual classroom, which is meant to replicate
and replace the physical classroom environment for distance learners, a virtual learning environment
(or VLE) harnesses technology to supplement an in-class experience.

Classroom management is the process by which teachers and schools create and maintain
appropriate behavior of students in classroom settings. The purpose of implementing classroom
management strategies is to enhance prosocial behavior and increase student academic
engagement (Emmer & Sabornie, 2015; Everston & Weinstein, 2006).

A lesson plan is the teacher’s compendium of what students need to learn and how it will be done
effectively during the class time. It also involves designing and incorporating appropriate learning
activities and strategies to obtain substantive feedback on student learning. A well-constructed
lesson plan prepared by a teacher for a particular lesson allows him/her to enter the classroom with
more confidence and a greater possibility of having engaging activities that will result in a meaningful
learning experience with students.

Delivering lessons, selection and utilization of various Digital Apps and Web Conferencing Apps
enable the learner to gain competence in preparing digital instructional materials that are appropriate
to learning content. Future educators must consider the aspects of using ICT both as a learning tool
within teaching process and as a tool used by learners for their assigned work and learning-related
actions.

student’s performance and learning. Grading can include letter grades, percentages and even a

three will be the bases for grading. The nature of the learning area defines the way these three
components are assessed. For Kindergarten, checklist and anecdotal records are used instead of
numerical grades. These are based on learning standards found in the Kindergarten curriculum guide.
For grades 1 to 12, numerical grades are used. The minimum grade needed to pass a specific
learner’s area is 60, which is transmuted to 75 in the report card. The lowest rank mark that can
appear on the report card is 60 for quarterly grades and final grades. Teachers in the Basic
Education implementing the K to 12 program uses electronic class record in excel format to facilitate
high level of accuracy in the computation of the learners grade. Each learning area has its specific e-
class record. Aside from these, different DepEd forms are accomplished at varied time within a
school year.Field study 2 really created opportunities for first-hand experiences that it encouraged
us to have critical thinking, long-term retention, transfer potential, positive attitudes towards science,
appreciation for nature, and increased scientific curiosity. Our cognitive development and motivation
are also enhanced when we are active participants in the planning of the field study and in the
activity itself. The important factors for us being future educators are orientation and site visit prior
to the trip. Scheduling of trips, support from administration, hours of organization that are required,
and cooperation of others where it can be a deterrent in conducting any study. The entire course
focuses on learner development and preparing us in our future profession. Moreover, Field Study 2
holds an important role as it is another step for us - the Pre-Service Teachers as it helped us in
realizing the responsibilities of a professional teacher.
