To maintain a high level of supply security during a period of global electronic component shortages,
we were compelled to change our LPC motor drive supplier for our fans in 2021 and 2022.

However, the situation has since returned to normal, and we have made the decision to revert
to our original LPC motor drive supplier for all our DA 600, DA 820, BF 50 and BF 55 LPC-fans.

The LPC motor drive introduced in 2021 and 2022 possesses the same favorable characteristics as
the ones we are now reintroducing. These characteristics include identical price, air output, en-
ergy consumption, mechanical assembly, and cable connections. The most noticeable technical
change is a reduction in drive current consumption, giving power savings in distribution transformer
and power generator.

* The models BF 55 LPC-3 HF 400V3 50/60Hz and BF 55 LPC-3 HF 400V3 50/60Hz TH (435506,
435512, 435507, and 435513) are still being supplied with the temporary LPC controller. However,
these items will also shift to the original controller within the next 3-6 months. The replacement for
these controllers are BF 55 LPC HF 400V3 50/60Hz and BF 55 LPC HF 400V3 50/60Hz TH (435463,
435475, 435464 and 435476).

All fans equipped with the temporary controllers introduced in 2021 and 2022 will be gradually phased
out. Nevertheless, the LPC controllers will remain available as spare parts. Below item numbers are
the spare part controller for the temporary LPC controller. Please consult the spare parts catalog to
find the spare part controller you need for the different LPC fans.
