MOMENTS DESCRIPTION
EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE Purpose: Ensure that students understand the grammatical rules, use
and proper application of comparative and superlative adjectives in
English.
Expected learning outcomes:
1.-Being able to do comparisons between two things with comparative
adjectives.
2.-Being able to use superlative adjectives and know its rules.
3.-To be able to distinguish between a superlative and a comparative
adjective.
Contents:
What words do we use to compare two things?
What are the grammar rules for comparatives and superlatives?
OPENING 1.- Roll call, how are you?
2.- Review of the topic
DEVELOPMENT Activity 1
Do the sentences of the ppt of the topic of comparatives. Explain the
grammatical rules and do the 7 sentences.
Activity 2
Do the 3 and 4 of p. 58
Activity 3
Do the exercise 5 of p. 58. Write on the whiteboard the adjectives that
we are going to use and have them come to the whiteboard to put the
correct form of the superlative adjective.
Activity 4
Do p. 60 ex 2, 3 and 4.
Activity 5
Do p. 61 ex 2, 3, 4 and 5
CLOSURE Having them reading the text of ex 5 and translate it for them. Then
having them write the sentences on their notebooks and translate them.
Having them doing suggestions and answering in pairs.
Having the students do a text to a friend with the learned expressions.
