Dear Ron,

It is with both excitement and sadness that I am announcing my retirement from the Palm
Beach Gardens Police Department effective March 10, 2024. It has been a distinct honor
and privilege to serve as Chief of Police for the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department.
After spending virtually my entire adult life, almost 45 years, in the law enforcement
profession, I have made the decision to retire and spend more time with my growing family.
Although I will greatly miss each and every co- worker, I am excited about this next chapter
of my life.

Throughout my tenure, I have witnessed the growth and development of our city, as well as
the challenges we have faced along the way. I could not be prouder of the dedicated team
of officers and support staff that I have had the pleasure to work with. They have shown
unwavering commitment and professionalism in keeping our community safe.

I could not be more appreciative of the opportunity you have given me to serve this amazing
community and for your trust, guidance, and support throughout my tenure. Your
leadership toour
city and to our department has been instrumental in our success. I look
forward to witnessing the continued progress and prosperity of our city and police
department.

I will always love the City of Palm Beach Gardens, our incredibly supportive community
members, my fellow employees, our elected officials, and especially my Palm Beach
Gardens police family!

Since ly,

Clint annon
