WARMING-UP:

- T asks Ss what they know about cowboys and their culture. Textbook,

ACTIVITY:
Presentation

- T asks the Ss to open the pg. 46 and look at Exercise A and begins the discussion. Textbook, CD

ACTIVITY:

-T then asks the Ss to look at the questions in Exercise F and begins the discussion Textbook
related to the listening exercises.

-T explains to students the importance of asking for clarification or giving one. 15 mins

-T introduces to the phrases mentioned on pg 48 in the “Speaking Skill” section.

-T asks Ss to play out a Person A-Person B dialogue where they practice giving or

- After remarks and feedback, T starts Exercise A on pg. 48 and Exercise B on page
49.

-IF TIME ALLOWS IT-

-T explains the structure, building process and the use of Past Continuous and asks
Ss to give example sentences using this tense.

Closing

- T goes over the main points of the lesson: importance of discussion, asking for 5mins
clarification when we are uncertain about the answer or giving clarification
about our answer and the use of Past Continuous.
