Ziyarat Aley Yaseen

Ziarat Aal-e-Yaseen is another important Ziarat of Imam-e-Zaman(a.s.).

‫ِآل يـٰس‬

‫َسلا َ ٌم َع َلىٰ ِآل يـٰس‬

Peace be upon the Household of Yasin.

‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ َيا َد ِاع َي ٱللَّ ِه َو َر َبّانِ َّي آ َياتِ ِه‬

َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you, O caller to Allah and interpreter of His Verses.

‫اب ٱللَّ ِه َو َد َيّا َن ِدي ِن ِه‬

َ ‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ َيا َب‬
َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you, O door to Allah and applier of His religion.

ِ ‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ َيا َخ ِلي َف َة ٱللَّ ِه َون‬

‫َاص َر َح ِّق ِه‬ َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you, O viceroy of Allah and backer of His right.

‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ َيا ُح َّج َة ٱللَّ ِه َو َدلِي َل إِ َرا َدتِ ِه‬

َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you, O Argument of Allah and sign of His volition.

‫اب ٱللَّ ِه َو َت ْر ُج َمانَ ُه‬

ِ ‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ َيا َتالِ َي ِك َت‬
َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you, O reciter of the Book of Allah and its interpreter.

ِ ‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ ِفي آنَا ِء لَ ْي ِلكَ َوا ْط َر‬

‫اف ن ََها ِر َك‬ َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you at the hours of Your night and the two ends of Your day.
:
 ‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ َيا َب ِق َّي َة ٱللَّ ِه ِفي ا ْر ِض ِه‬
َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you, O herald of Allah on His lands.

‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ َيا ِمي َثاقَ ٱللَّ ِه ٱلَّ ِذي َاخ َذ ُه َو َوكَّ َد ُه‬
َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you, O covenant of Allah that He has made and confirmed.

‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ َيا َو ْع َد ٱللَّ ِه ٱلَّ ِذي َض ِم َن ُه‬

َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you, O Promise of Allah that He has assured.

ُ ‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ ايُّ َها ٱلْ َع َل ُم ٱلْ َم ْن ُص‬

‫وب‬ َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you, O appointed pennon,

ُ ‫َوٱلْ ِع ْل ُم ٱلْ َم ْص ُب‬

‫وب‬
poured knowledge,

‫َوٱلْ َغ ْو ُث َوٱل ّر َْح َم ُة ٱلْ َو ِاس َع ُة‬

aid, and expansive mercy.

ٍ ‫َو ْعد ًا َغ ْي َر َم ْك ُذ‬

‫وب‬
This is verily a promise that shall never be belied.

َ ‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ ِح‬

‫ين َتق ُو ُم‬ َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you whenever you rise (to undertake the mission).

َ ‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ ِح‬

‫ين َت ْق ُع ُد‬ َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you whenever you sit.

َ ‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ ِح‬

‫ين َت ْق َرا َوتُ َب ِّي ُن‬ َّ َ‫ا‬
:
 Peace be upon you whenever you recite and elucidate.

َ ‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ ِح‬

‫ين ُت َص ِلّي َو َت ْق ُن ُت‬ َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you whenever you o!er prayer and supplicate.

َ ‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ ِح‬

‫ين َت ْر َك ُع َو َت ْس ُج ُد‬ َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you whenever you genuflect and prostrate (yourself for Allah).

َ ‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ ِح‬

‫ين تُ َه ِلّ ُل َوتُ َك ِّب ُر‬ َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you whenever you profess Allah’s Godhead and profess His All-greatness.

َ ‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ ِح‬

‫ين َت ْح َم ُد َو َت ْس َت ْغ ِف ُر‬ َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you whenever you praise Allah and implore for His forgiveness.

َ ‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ ِح‬

‫ين تُ ْص ِب ُح َوتُ ْم ِسي‬ َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you whenever you begin and end your day.

ٰ‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ ِفي ٱللَّ ْيلِ إِ َذا َي ْغشَ ى‬

َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you in the night when it draws a veil

ٰ‫َوٱل َنّ َها ِر إِ َذا َت َجلَّى‬

and the day when it shines in brightness.

‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ ايُّ َها ِٱلإ َما ُم ٱلْ َما ُمو ُن‬
َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you, O entrusted leader.

‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ ايُّ َها ٱلْ ُم َق َّد ُم ٱلْ َما ُمو ُل‬
َّ َ‫ا‬
Peace be upon you, O favored and expected.

َّ ‫لسلا َ ُم َع َل ْيكَ بِ َج َو ِام ِع‬

‫ٱلسلا َ ِم‬ َّ َ‫ا‬
:
 Peace be upon you to the ultimate meaning of peace.

‫ْاش ِه ُد َك َيا َم ْولا َ َي‬

I solicit you, O my master,

‫ٱللَّ ُه‬ َّ ‫انِّي ْاش َه ُد ا ْن لا َ إِل ٰ َه إِلا‬

to testify to me that I bear witness that there is no god but Allah;

‫َو ْح َد ُه لا َ شَ رِيكَ لَ ُه‬

One and Only Lord and having no associate,

‫َوا َّن ُم َح َّمد ًا َع ْب ُد ُه َو َر ُسولُ ُه‬

and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.

‫يب إِلا َّ ُه َو َوا ْهلُ ُه‬

َ ‫لا َ َح ِب‬
There is no one more beloved by Allah than him and his household.

‫َو ْاش ِه ُد َك َيا َم ْولا َ َي‬

And I solicit you, O my master, to testify to me that I bear witness

َ ‫ا َّن َع ِل ّياً ِام َير ٱلْ ُم ْؤ ِم ِن‬

‫ين ُح َّج ُت ُه‬
that `Ali the Commander of the Faithful is His argument,

‫َوٱلْ َح َس َن ُح َّج ُت ُه‬

al-Hasan is His argument,

‫َوٱلْ ُح َس ْي َن ُح َّج ُت ُه‬

al-Husayn is His argument,
:
 ‫َو َع ِل َّي ْب َن ٱلْ ُح َس ْينِ ُح َّج ُت ُه‬
`Ali the son of al-Husayn is His argument,

‫َو ُم َح َّم َد ْب َن َع ِل ٍ ّي ُح َّج ُت ُه‬

Muhammad the son of `Ali is His argument,

‫َو َج ْعف ََر ْب َن ُم َح َّم ٍد ُح َّج ُت ُه‬

Ja`far the son of Muhammad is His argument,

‫َوم ُو َسىٰ ْب َن َج ْع َف ٍر ُح َّج ُت ُه‬

Musa the son of Ja`far is His argument,

َ ‫َو َع ِل َّي ْب َن ُم‬

‫وسىٰ ُح َّج ُت ُه‬
`Ali the son of Musa is His argument,

‫ُح َّج ُت ُه‬ ‫َو ُم َح َّم َد ْب َن َع ِل ٍ ّي‬

Muhammad the son of `Ali is His argument,

‫َو َع ِل َّي ْب َن ُم َح َّم ٍد ُح َّج ُت ُه‬

`Ali the son of Muhammad is His argument,

‫َوٱلْ َح َس َن ْب َن َع ِل ٍ ّي ُح َّج ُت ُه‬

and al-Hasan the son of `Ali is His argument.

‫َو ْاش َه ُد انَّكَ ُح َّج ُة ٱللَّ ِه‬

I also bear witness that you are verily the argument of Allah.

ِ ‫انْ ُت ُم ٱلا َّو ُل َو‬

‫ٱلآخ ُر‬
:
 You all are the first and the last.

‫َوا َّن َر ْج َع َت ُك ْم َح ٌّق لا َ َر ْي َب ِف َيها‬

And (I bear witness) that your (promised) Return is undoubtedly true

‫َي ْو َم لا َ َي ْن َف ُع نَ ْفساً إِيـ َمان َُها‬

“On the day when its belief avails not a soul

‫لَ ْم َت ُك ْن آ َم َن ْت ِم ْن َق ْب ُل‬
which theretofore believed not,

ً‫ْاو ك ََس َب ْت ِفي إِيـ َمانِ َها َخ ْيرا‬

nor in its belief earned good by works (6:158),”

‫َوا َّن ٱلْ َم ْو َت َح ٌّق‬

death is true,

‫َوا َّن نَا ِكراً َونَكيراً َح ٌّق‬

and Nakir and Nakir are true.

‫َو ْاش َه ُد ا َّن ٱل َنّ ْش َر َح ٌّق‬

And I bear witness that the Raising for death is true,

‫َوٱلْ َب َع َث َح ٌّق‬
the Resurrection is true,

ِّ ‫َوا َّن‬
َ ‫ٱلص َر‬
‫اط َح ٌّق‬
the Discriminating Bridge is true,

‫َوٱلْ ِم ْر َصا َد َح ٌّق‬

:
 the Watchtower is true,

‫َوٱلْ ِمي َزا َن َح ٌّق‬

the Balance (of deeds) is true,

‫َوٱلْ َح ْش َر َح ٌّق‬
the Gathering is true,

َ ‫َوٱلْ ِح َس‬
‫اب َح ٌّق‬
the Reckoning is true,

‫َوٱلْ َج َنّ َة َوٱل َنّا َر َح ٌّق‬

Paradise and Hell are true,

‫َوٱلْ َو ْع َد َوٱلْ َو ِعي َد بِ ِه َما َح ٌّق‬

and the promise of Paradise and the threat of Hell are true.

‫َيا َم ْولا َ َي شَ ِق َي َم ْن َخالَ َف ُك ْم‬

O My master! Certainly wretched is he who opposes you

‫َو َس ِع َد َم ْن ا َطا َع ُك ْم‬

and certainly happy is he who obeys you.

‫َف ْٱش َه ْد َع َلىٰ َما ْاش َه ْدتُكَ َع َل ْي ِه‬

So, testify to me all that which I have besought you to testify.

َ‫لَك‬ ‫َوانَا َولِ ٌّي‬

I am verily an ally of you
:
 ‫ِيء ِم ْن َع ُد ّ ِو َك‬
ٌ ‫َبر‬
and denouncing your enemy.

‫َفٱلْ َح ُّق َما َر ِضي ُت ُمو ُه‬

The truth is only that which you accept,

‫َوٱلْ َب ِاط ُل َما ْاس َخ ْط ُت ُمو ُه‬

the wrong is only that which you disallow,

‫وف َما ا َم ْرتُ ْم بِ ِه‬

ُ ‫َوٱلْ َم ْع ُر‬
the good is only that which you enjoin,

‫َوٱلْ ُم ْن َك ُر َما ن ََه ْي ُت ْم َع ْن ُه‬

and the evil is only that which you forbid.

‫َف َن ْف ِسي ُم ْؤ ِم َن ٌة بِٱللَّ ِه‬

My soul is thus believing in Allah;

‫َو ْح َد ُه لا َ شَ ريكَ لَ ُه‬

One and Only Lord and having no associate,

َ ‫َوبِ َر ُسولِ ِه َوبِ ِامي ِر ٱلْ ُم ْؤ ِم ِن‬

‫ين‬
and also in His Messenger, in the Commander of the Faithful,

‫َوبِ ُك ْم َيا َم ْولا َ َي ا َّولِ ُك ْم َو ِآخ ِركُ ْم‬

and in you all, O my master, from the beginning to the end.

‫َون ُْص َرتِي ُم َع َّد ٌة لَ ُك ْم‬

:
 I have prepared myself to back you

‫َو َم َو َّدتِي َخالِ َص ٌة لَ ُك ْم‬

and my love is sincerely dedicated to you.

َ ‫ين ِآم‬
‫ين‬ َ ‫ِآم‬
