commonly known as the "father of liberalism".

Herbert Spencer was an English philosopher,
psychologist, biologist, anthropologist, and
sociologist. Spencer originated the expression
"survival of the fittest", which he coined in
Principles of Biology after reading Charles
Darwin's 1859 book On the Origin of Species.
GEORGE COUNTS-1889-1974
George Sylvester Counts was an American educator and
influential education theorist. An early proponent of the
progressive education movement of John Dewey, Counts
became its leading critic affiliated with the school of Social
reconstructionism in education.
