CMMT-AS Plug-in

Section/command Description

Functions:
– Connect or disconnect the plug-in with a device.
Connection control – Display current connection and device status.
– Manage the plug-in communication settings.
Additional information è 2.2.2.1 Connection control.
Assign or withdraw master control to or from the plug-in or higher-
order controller.
‘Control’ The displayed scroll bar shows the current setting.
The tool tip for the ‘Control’ command contains the IP address and the
port number of the device.
Requirements:
– The plug-in is connected to a device.
– No other plug-in has the master control.
If another plug-in has the master control, an information symbol is
displayed over the deactivated ‘Control’ command.
Enable or disable the power stage of the servo drive.
A check during activation of the controller enable determines whether
‘Powerstage’ re-initialisation is required. If the command is executed, a selection
dialogue shows the following options:
– ‘Ok’: the re-initialisation is executed and controller enable is acti-
vated.
– ‘Cancel’: the re-initialisation is not executed and controller enable
remains deactivated.
The scroll bar shows the current setting.
Requirements:
– The plug-in is connected to a device.
– The plug-in has the master control.
– The device is not in error status.
If another plug-in has the master control, an information symbol is
displayed over the deactivated ‘Powerstage’ command.
The tool tip for the ‘Powerstage’ command contains the IP address
and the port number of the device.
Send stop command to the servo drive (category 2 stop).
Requirement:
– The plug-in is connected to a device.
‘Stop’ – The plug-in has the master control.
– Controller enable is activated.
