ABSTRACT

Industrial training is an important phase of a student life. A well planned, properly executed and evaluated
Industrial training helps a lot in developing a professional attitude. It develop an awareness of industrial
Approach to problem solving, based on a broad understanding of process and mode of operation of
Organization. The aim and motivation of this industrial training is to receive discipline, skills, teamwork and
Technical knowledge through a proper training environment, which will help me, as a student in the field of
Information Technology, to develop a responsiveness of the self-disciplinary nature of problems in
Information and communication technology. During a period of six weeks training at Parate Electronics, we
Assigned to creating a more efficient auto data transfer system in order to help the company to automate all
The document data into server with paperless system and to reduce human error. As a result we vital to
Achieve the minimum requirement of the company. Throughout this industrial training, we have been learned
New programming language that required for the system, the process of the production lines and able to
Implement what I have learnt for the past year as a Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication
Engineering student in Government Polytechnic Yavatmal.

CHAPTER 1
Organizational Structure of Industry/Organization and General Layout.

Within a functional structure, employees are divided into departments that each handle
Activities related to a functional area of the business, such as marketing, production,
Human resources, information technology, and customer service. Each of these five areas
Would be headed up by a manager who coordinates all activities related to her functional
Area. Everyone in a company that works on marketing the company’s products, for
Example, would report to the manager of the marketing department. The marketing
Managers and the managers in charge of the other four areas in turn would report to the
Chief executive officer (CEO).
CHAPTER 2
Introduction of Industry/Organization.
Parate Electronics is a Manufacturer of audio Sound System, DJ System and Cinema
Sound System Offered By Parate Electronics from Yavatmal, Maharashtra, 445001.
The Address of this Industry is Plot no. A-57, MIDC Lohara, Yavatmal.
CHAPTER 3
Types of Major Equipment or Instruments.

Vernier Calliper:-

The bigger jaws are used to measure the distance between two
ends, whereas the smaller jaws are used to measure the internal
Diameter. Both the pair of jaws work by sliding the small scale. The
Above-mentioned screw can be used to maintain the measurement of
the scale.
Screw Gauge :-
A screw gauge works on the principle of screw. This screw
Principle helps to convert smaller distances into larger ones by
Measuring the rotation of the screw. It amplifies the smaller
Dimensions and this converts into larger ones. When we rotate the
Screw, there’s a linear movement of the main scale.

Electrical Coil Winding Machines :-

Electrical coil winding machines are used to wind coils for motors, transformers,
Inductors, and chokes. Coil winding equipment is used in a variety of wire winding, wire
Welding, and wire bonding applications. Some electrical coil winding machines are used
In automated coil winding and assembly, magnet wire winding, transformer winding, or
Motor winding applications. Other coil winding equipment is used in solenoid winding,
Speaker and microphone coil winding, or air coil winding applications. Suppliers of

Electrical coil winding machines also provide equipment for medical device assembly, Micro-electronic
assembly, and RFID assembly. Specialized electrical coil winding Machinery is used for fine wire
welding and fine wire bonding (i.e., welding chips and flex chips).

CHAPTER 4
Manufacturing Process Along With Production Planning and Control Methods.
 What is production planning?

Production planning describes in detail how a company’s products and services will be
Manufactured. A production plan defines the production targets, required resources and
Overall schedule, together with all the steps involved in production and their
Dependencies.

 What is production control?

Production control is primarily the collection of functions and measures that

Manages all production in a site or area. In concrete terms, production control or
Production inspection means the comparison of the target data of production
Planning with the actual data and an analysis of the causes of deviation.

 The overall objectives of production planning and control are to:

 Improved organization for regular and timely delivery.

 Better supplier communication for raw materials procurement.
 Reduced investment in inventory.
 Reduced production cost by increasing efficiency.
 Smooth flow of all production processes.
 Reduced waste of resources.

 The Manufacturing Process :-

 The permanent magnet is constructed by mixing iron oxide with strontium

And then milling the Compound into a very fine power. The power is mixed
With a ceramic binder and then closed in a metal .Die. The die is then placed
In furnace and sintered to bond the mixture together.
 The frame is constructed from an aluminum or steel sheet. The sheet arrives
At the plant preformed. It Is then placed on a conveyor belt and transported to
A cutting machine that used a hydraulic press to Cut holes in the sheet to
Allow free air movement from the cone. The sheet is then formed by a
Hydraulic Press that forces the sheet into a die of the desired shape. Mounting
Holes are then drilled at their proper Locations.
 The cone, surround, and spider are individually formed out of composite
Paper and then glued together as an assembly.
 The voice coil is built by winding many turns of very fine insulated copper wire On a plastic
bobbin. The bobbin and voice coil assembly is glued to the dust cap of the cone assembly.
 The frame, soft iron core, and permanent magnet are bolted together as an assembly.
 The cone assembly is then attached to the frame assembly by first manually Gluing the spider to
the Base of the frame and then gluing the surround to the top of the frame.

CHAPTER 5
Testing of Raw Materials, Components And Finished Products along With Quality
Assurance Procedure:
 Raw Materials

1. Stamped iron or aluminum frame.

2. Permanent magnet is a ceramic ferrite material consisting of iron oxide strontium

And a ceramic binder.

3. The cone and surround :

4. Spider

6. Coil
Components used in Speaker Manufacturing:-
1. Frame
2. Permanent magnet
3. Soft iron core
4. voice coil and cone.
5. Terminals.(lux strip).
6. Lead wire.
7. Duet cap.
 The frame supports the cone and permanent magnet assembly. The voice coil consists

Of an insulated Wire wound around a plastic bobbin. One end of the bobbin is attached
To the cone and the body of the Bobbin slides over the soft iron core.

CHAPTER 6
Major materials handling product.
CHAPTER 7
Safety Procedures Followed and Safety Gear Used.

 Precautions for making speakers are as follows:-

1. Use always gloves.

2. Use safety glasses.
3. Use proper plate for mixing the solution.
4. Take care of magnet.
5. Cone should be handle with care.
6. Don’t touch the oven when it is ON.
7. Parameter should be ploted0 properly in coil winding machine otherwise it will give some error.
8. Use proper safety while attaching the mounting plate to magnet.
9. Coil should be wind property on fiber glass paper.
CHAPTER 8

Particulars of Practical Experiences in Industry.

The purpose of Industrial Training is to expose students to real work of environment experience and at
the same time, to gain the knowledge through hands on observation and job execution. From the
industrial training, the students will also develop skills in work ethics, communication, management and
others.
Practical Training means a purposeful activity organized to achieve learning outcomes, aimed at
applying acquired knowledge and skills in a working environment using the format of practical work
and/or independent work under dual supervision (a supervisor from the facility of practical training and
one from the College.
