1. BASIC JOB INFORMATION

Job Title : Repairs & Maintenance Supervisor


Department : Repairs and Maintenance Department
Reporting to : Plant Manager

2. JOB SUMMARY

Oversee the activity of the repairs & Maintenance department and staff, developing,
implementing, and maintaining a repairs and maintenance system for the company.
Responsible for initiating and monitoring project implementation, tasks to repair, appliances,
equipment and facility/ building maintenance related to facility/building electrical and
plumbing.

3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Leads the Repairs and Maintenance team in the consistent adherence of Quality
Assurance Group on the Food Safety Policy of the company.
2. Leads the repairs and Maintenance team in the establishment of food safety
objectives, action plans and provision of resources to meet the FSMS requirements
of the Repairs And Maintenance Group.
3. Leads the repairs and Maintenance team in the implementation of Food Safety
standards in the Repairs and Maintenance Department.
4. Participates in and internal audits and assist the department to ensure compliance
5. Work with the team to determine opportunities for improvements in repairs and
Maintenance processes to ensure product food safety, and continuous compliance
to Food safety regulations and other food safety requirements.
6. Assist for the development, implementation, and supervising processes to ensure
that products meets required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior
to delivery by ensuring all equipment used are within standard quality condition to
prevent contamination.
7. Coordinates equipment testing processes.
8. Work with other members of the Repairs & Maintenance in the implementation and
Monitoring the compliance in the implementation of HACCP, Personal Hygiene,
GMP, SSOP policies
Leads the repairs and Maintenance team in identifying and analyzing issues, bugs,
defects, and other problems, particularly equipment or any maintenance related
concerns; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues
9. Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
10. Delegate task among the maintenance team and prepare weekly schedule for the
Department.
11. Monitor inventory of supplies/consumables, maintain records
12. Maintain repairs and maintenance records.
13. Leads on the efficient operation of the water and wastewater treatment facility
14. Participate in coordination of projects (ex. Renovation, repair, new projects, etc)

15. Leads the department on effective budgeting on projects, repairs etc.


16. Ensure department adherence to quality standards, and health and safety
17. Creates preventive maintenance schedule (PMS) for all equipment and appliances
18. Performs other duties assigned.
19. Reports to the Plant manager nonconformities related to environmental and safety
as well as non-compliance to GMO, SSOP and HACCP requirements.
20. Communicate with management and other team members when problems arise
and offer possible solutions to help correct any mistakes during manufacturing.

4. ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ensure, mechanical, electrical and plumbing system are consisten to regulatory as well
as production requirement and health and safety standards.Ensure the implementation,
maintenance and improvement of the Quality and Food Safety Management System.
Ensure plant/facility maintenance requirement are done on time and at the right cost.

5. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1. Graduate of any four-year college course.


2. Knowledge of HACCP and GMP is an advantage.
3. Experience on building maintenance, electrical, mechanical and plumbing

6. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
