Seven Elements in Art:
1. Color- appearance of objects/thing
2. Form- shape and structure
3. Line- path of a moving point
4. Shape- area enclosed by line
5. Space- distance, area, volume
6. Texture- roughness and smoothness of surface
7. Value- lightness or darkness of a surface
Ten Common Principles of Art:
1. Balance-sense ofstability
2. Emphasis - center of interest
3. Harmony - creates connection
4. Movement - shows actions
5. Pattern- repetition of shapes, lines, colors, etc.
6. Proportion - balance, symmetry
7. Repetition - creates pattern
8. Rhythm- regular rep etition of elements
