Statement of purpose

The main objective of pusuing MBA is to achieve my goal of becoming Operation manager in
engineering related industry . I was in search of a course that could provide me a platform to
acquire knowledge and expertise for searching managerial level .

I have 10 years of experience in petrochemicals industry and specialty chemicals manufacturing

. After graduation from suez university – Faculty of petroleum and mining engineering which
majored in petrochemical engineering and petroleum refining , I have joined to a small
company as sales engineer for performance additive for petroleum products enhancement
where gained experience about market needs and saling skills . Later , shifted to Rochem
inspectors company working as operation engineer and additivation supervisors in customers
locations like Shell , Vitol and Reliance which are all leading companies in the field of oil and gas
. Then , As a career growth got an opportunity a growing organization in specialty chemicals
manufacturing located in four countries dealing with different in addition to oil & gas
sector ,there is also coating additives . there , I have experienced with how wider the scope of
the business of specialty chemicals manudacturing .

During these years , I went through many courses like Master degree of chemical engineering
which I am already done with priliminaries , lean manufacturing skills and Safety related
courses

My current position in Delta specialties company is Shift leading production engineer having
production capability of 10000 mt per year . The major responsibilities include manpower ,
machine and material planning , productivity improvement and ensuring safe environment for
the employees . this course can certainly enhance my leadership qualities by guiding me
through recommended management practices and its applications . As a next step in my career
this additional qualification can surely provide right information required to attain my goal
becoming an operation manager in future years . I do believe that hard work together with
right planning is the only way to success .

Responsible for preparation of cargo lines for product movement in and out of tanks.

Supervises daily stocktaking and reconciliation of petroleum products in the terminal in

conformity with the industry standards.

Working directly as the Loading Master for all marine / all vessel-related operations.

Responsible for the operation of the weighbridge computer.

Coordinates and works directly with Independent inspectors and other government agencies in
cargo related matters.

In Charge of Terminal cargo documentation.

Interprets truck ullages, other cargo related measurements and supervision of waybill
preparation.

Responsible for conducting a pre-operation meeting in consultation with the TM for every
operational day.

Coordinates other workers: operators – loaders & technicians for day-to-day operations.

Oversee the progress of third-party jobs within the terminal.

Assisting in enforcing compliance to all HSE rules in the terminal.

Coordination and planning of boiler firing as an oversight function.

Supervision of operation of loading pumps, meters, and gauging equipment.

Interfacing for the Depot Manager on both logistics and operational matters when not on sit.
