SMS Engineer

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SMS Engineer to join our team. The candidate should have
experience working with SMS platforms such as Alaris and will be responsible for configuring
SMS routes, managing SMS messages, monitoring traffic and SMS campaigns and providing
technical support.

Job Responsibilities:

● Design, implement, and maintain our SMS services using Alaris platform
● Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the successful
implementation of SMS services
● Monitor and maintain the performance of our SMS services to ensure their reliability
and scalability
● Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our SMS services (network and route alarms,
ticketing systems etc.)
● Develop and maintain documentation related to our SMS services
● Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the SMS industry

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical and computer engineering, or related

field.
● Minimum of 3 years of experience in SMS engineering
● Experience working with Alaris or similar SMS platforms
● Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, HTML, XML, CSS, SQL etc.
● Strong understanding of SMS protocols and technologies
● Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
● Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
● Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
