Title: Procedure for Tool maintenance

 Purpose :To define operational control procedure for proper maintenance of tools

 Scope :All tools in OS Department

 Responsibility: HOD(OS)
 Performance Criteria: Availability records for tools including precision tools.

6.0Activities:

2. Periodicalinspectionofliftingtoolsandhoistsavailableandconductingpreventi HOD(OS)/Section In-

3. Replacing the broken tools and damaged tools with new tools Section-in-charge
4. Periodical calibration of precision instruments Section-in-charge
5. Conducting PM checks for all mechanized tools Section-in-
charge/Supervisor

 Checking ,Corrective & Preventive Action:

In case of any deviation in the stated procedures, the

HODoftheconcerneddepartmentisresponsiblefortakingappropriatecorrectiveandpreventiveaction.
