(COLOSSEUM) 2022.
Dear Sir/Madam,

I am pleased to inform you that Lucknow Public College, Sahara States,

Jankipuram, Lucknow is hosting Inter School States Athletic Championship,
Colosseum from 10th November, 2022 to 12th November, 2022 from 9:00 a.m.
onwards.
You are requested to fill the enclosed entry form and mail to the undersigned
by 1st November, 2022 positively. The rules approved by the association are
attached herewith.
The Team Managers should be present in the meeting on 9 th November, 2022

Colosseum is an initiative of the Director of Lucknow Public Schools & Colleges
Mrs. Neha Singh. It’s aim is to promote and develop a sporting culture among
the youth of Uttar Pradesh. The stated vision of Colosseum is “to support
schools in providing a diverse range of opportunities for participation in sport
and physical activity and to promote sportsmanship among students in the
sports field.”

Rules and Regulations

1. The event shall be conducted according to the rules of Amateur Athletic
Federation of India with required modifications if necessary.
2. All the participating schools must bring their school flag for March Past.
3. Only one participant in each event will be permitted to participate from
a school in each category.
4. One participant can participate in three events only, excluding the relay.
5. All participants will be provided with two sets of chest number to be
worn visibly on his/her chest and back. The size of the numbers shall not
exceed 150X25mm.
6. The participants should report to the Reporting booth at the first call, no
participant will be allowed to participate in the event. In case a
participant is unable to report to the reporting booth for a valid reason,
he/she should obtain prior permission from the officials through the
manager/coach.
7. The referee and the officials in charge, conducting the events should
brief the participants before the commencement of each event
regarding the track or lane and rules, changing the track, pushing or
tripping the competitors, will eventually lead to the disqualification of
the participant from a particular event or events.
8. Some of the events require heats to select the participants for the final.
The timing and not the position at the heats will decide the qualifiers for
the finals.
9. The track umpires are the assistants to the referee without the power of
decision.
10. During the relays, the baton must be carried in hand throughout the
race. In case the baton is dropped, it should be picked up. The race will
be invalid for a participant who finishes the race without the baton.
11. Every school team is required to use its proper uniform tracksuit and
sports kits. The participants can use spikes and starters (optional). No
participant will be allowed to run barefoot.
  Documents for Registration
i) One set of registration form duly completed and signed by the
principal of the concerned school.
ii) Photocopy of Aadhar Card.
iii) Photocopy of Mark sheet/ Report Card of the previous class
attended duly attested by the principal.
 Eligibility: Participants must be bona fide students of CISCE affiliated
school.
 Age Status
i) UNDER – 12: Girls and boys born on or after 2011 and 2012 and not
studying below 5th standard.

ii) SUB JUNIORS (U-14): Girls and boys born on or after 1/1/2009 and
not studying below 6th standard.

iii) SENIORS (U-19): Girls and boys born on or after 1/1/2004 and
studying in class 12th or below but not below 6th standard.

12. To maintain the decorum of the institution, athlete may be disqualified

due to any anti- disciplinary act to make the event a ground success.
Kindly cooperate to maintain the discipline.
13. For any injury/ mishappening the organizing school will not be
responsible for it. It will be the sole responsibility of the participating
school.
14. The point shall be awarded according to the following system:
