BPDS Circular 2023-02

Re: UPDATED POLICIES

Dear Parents and Students,

Thank you for choosing Ballet Philippines Dance School and trusting us with your child’s
dance education. As we work with you to provide rigorous training in a nurturing setting, we
would like to announce our updated policies.

UPDATED POLICY on Tuition Fees and Make-up Classes

Our program is meant to be done long-term. The curriculum is prepared for the whole year
and skills are built consistently over time. Hence, we encourage long-term enrollment.
1. Fees are non-refundable.
2. Students who have paid for a monthly, trimestral or annual fee must use it on the term
intended. Missed classes are forfeited, and may not be deducted from next term’s fee.
3. The following are excused absences, and are allowed make-up classes:
1. Illness
2. Death in the family or family emergencies
3. Calamity
4. Major school events such as graduation, exams, entrance interviews, etc.
*Absences due to trips or vacations are not excused.
4. Make-up classes must be done within the term, or the beginning of the succeeding
term. They may be done in a lower level or another section of the same level.
5. Adult Ballet: classes are counted per session. Packages may be used within one year.

NEW POLICIES on viewing and taking photos/videos

1. To help students stay focused and to protect their privacy, the studio curtain will be
closed during classes and coaching sessions. It will be opened only during an open
house once a month, or at the teacher’s discretion.
2. For the protection and privacy of our students, unauthorized taking of photos and
videos during class and rehearsals is prohibited.

UPDATED COVID POLICY

As of June 15, 2023, the IATF has placed Metro Manila under alert Alert Level 1.
1. Mask-wearing will no longer be required and will be at the discretion of parents.
2. Masks will be required of students who are returning from illness.
3. Children with fever (temperature of 37.8 degrees or higher), cough, colds, or any
