Position: Electrical Assistant X 2

Location: Overlooked Colliery

QUALIFICATIONS JOB PURPOSE.

• Grade 12 or N2 in Electrical To assist Artisan with maintenance,

Engineering (Essential/Minimum)
• Minimum of 2 years’ Experience in
the Mining Environment
• Valid driver’s license
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
• At least 2 years’ Experience in the
Mining Environment
• Medical Certificate of Fitness.
• Adherence to Safety Measures.
• First Aid Certificate

TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
• Assist in carrying out any
Electrical tasks.
• Assist in performing inspections
in accordance with the Mine
Health and Safety Act
regulations, and company
standards.
• Report all defects and
breakdowns on equipment.
• Assist in conducting risk
assessments and pre-
work inspections as
required.
• Required to work outside normal
working hours during
emergencies and planned
overtime.
• Maintain good housekeeping
standards.
