authoritative manner. Official discourse commonly employs specific terminology and jargon
relevant to the particular field or profession, enhancing communication efficiency among
professionals.
2. 1. The text under analysis headlined "СВІДОЦТВО ПРО ШЛЮБ" belongs to a legal
document (text type: certificate). It is of an official discourse. There are non-verbal means in
the text (if any) - None.
2. The text was taken from a marriage certificate. The text is aimed at the legal reader (in the
field of civil registration), which is evident from the formal language and the inclusion of
specific details related to the marriage. The communicative aim of the textual information is
to officially certify the marriage between Ivan Musten and Svitlana Koretska.
3. 1) Structural level of the text is ensured by lexical and semantic cohesion.

4. Stylistic characteristics of the text are:
