The Girl in Red as pretty as a picture is merely a vision of the protagonists imagination
and imaginary perception haunts him with her charming gaze and dazzling red dress.

The Girl in Red: "Catch me if you can working on

my tan, Salvatore, dying by the hand of a foreign
man, happily."
(softly)

INT. MID SHOT OF THE PROTAGONIST AGAINST A BACKBOARD SINGING

Juxtaposition is shown between the Protagonist and the Girl in Red.

He is acknowledging only himself and interacting with only himself split into three
versions. He feels isolated and lonely. One is smoking, the other is taking a shot of
whiskey and the other is sitting down on a window ledge looking at them while smiling.

EXT. STILLSHOT EYE LEVEL ANGLE OF THE PROTAGONIST SITTING

The protagonist is smoking a cigarette and throws a lighted matchstick on the ground and
is soon engulfed in flames. The flames burn violently in the beginning and slowly die
down at the end of the scene.

INT. SLOW TRACKING IN AND PAN RIGHT TO THE PROTAGONIST IN HIS

BATHTUB, HIS FACE IS VISIBLE AND CAMERA SLOWLY TRACKING OUT TO
A WIDE SHOT OF THE PROTAGONIST LYING IN HIS BATHTUB.

He killed himself to reunite with his dead wife. He had lost the will to live. "Ciao Amore"
is written in his own blood and his lovers ring is placed atop the bathtub.
