Strengths/Next Steps for Improvement

Ayaan has had a good start to Term 1. He is a kind-hearted and respectful student who comes to class each day excited to learn. Ayaan
sometimes makes an effort to keep the classroom tidy and organized. He shows respect to the classroom environment by completing his
assigned classroom job. Ayaan follows the co-created classroom rules and expectations with occasional reminders. Ayaan has been
encouraged to participate in all classroom tasks and learning centers throughout the day. He is actively working on staying focused and on
task during independent work time and completing tasks with minimal redirection from teachers. Ayaan often requires teacher reminders to
start classroom tasks immediately. He has been encouraged to refer to the classroom example when copying and printing ideas from the
board. Ayaan is encouraged to complete tasks to the best of his abilities in the given time frame as well as submitting his class work on time.
He is reminded to ask for teacher support when necessary. Ayaan is learning to use strategies taught and tools in and around the classroom
to independently find solutions to challenging questions or tasks. Ayaan works and communicates well with his peers as he continues to
build positive relationships at school. He is encouraged to contribute ideas more frequently during class and group discussions. Ayaan is
encouraged to approach all new learning situations with confidence. I look forward to watching Ayaan grow as a learner throughout the rest
of the school year! - E.Zervos
