ACTIVITY PROPOSAL

I. TITLE: SCHOOL- BASED 2024 NATIONAL ARTS MONTH

CELEBRATION

III. RATINONALE:

Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 683, s.1991 entitled Declaring the

Month of February of Every Year as National Arts Month. Cabeceria 3 Elementary School
enjoins all its efforts to observe the said endeavor through the various activities with this
year’s theme “Ani ng Sining, Bayang Malikhain”. Students and Teachers are encouraged
to participate in the different school-proposed activities aligned with the division’s arts
month celebration activities.

IV. OBJECTIVES:

General Objective:
To provide an avenue to showcase various talents and creativity of the learners.

Specific Objective:
1. To develop teamwork through participation in different MAPEH and art
activities;
2. To generate appreciation among learners of the value of MAPEH and the Arts
in social transformation and value formation among learners; and
3. To recognize learners’ multi-intelligence and provide opportunities to develop
and enhance them.

A. POSTER MAKING

1. The contest is open to all bona fide learners of Cabeceria 3 ES.

2. There shall only be one (1) representative in each level that would be guided with one (1)
official coach for each. Contestants should be guided with this National Arts Month
theme “Ani ng Sining, Bayang Malikhain”.
3. Contestant must use 1/4 illustration board and any drawing & coloring materials.
4. Criteria for judging are as follows:
Creativity & Presentation: -40%
Relevance to the theme: -30%
Originality: -30%
Total 100%

5. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.

B. DISH GARDENING

1. The contest is open to all bona fide learners of Cabeceria 3 ES.

2. Event materials, supplies, tools, and other things needed should be made ready by the
participants or coach.
3. Use of recycled container.
4. Criteria for judging are as follows:
Originality -30%
Combination of plants and Materials -30%
Speed -30%
Proper use of tools -10%
Total 100%

C. FOLK DANCE

1. The contest is open to all bona fide learners of Cabeceria 3 Elementary School.
2. Each group will perform to any folk dances or accompaniment of folk music with a
maximum time of 5 minutes. Beyond this limit, a total of five (5) points will be deducted
from the group’s total score.
3. Criteria for judging are as follows:
Choreography
(creativity, style, and originality) -50%
Execution
(timing, coordination, and projection) -30%
Costume -10%
Over- all Impact -10%
Total 100%
