RESOLUTION NO. 12

“RESOLUTION DESIGNATING ALL THE SEVEN KAGAWADS OF OUR

BARANGAY HEADED BY THE FIRST BARANGAY KAGAWAD & COMMITTEE
CHAIRMAN ON WOMEN AND CHILDREN PROTECTION, TASK TO MONITOR,
ASSIST AND ENSURE THE RIGHT OF OUR CHILDREN WHICH IS THE “RIGHT
TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN AT RISK OR CHILDREN IN CONFLICT WITH THE
LAW”

WHEREAS, our barangay mission and vision is to have a progressive, peaceful and safe
community where anyone can visit our place and be proud of that any time of the day visitors
would be safe; aim to have a zero delinquent minors as well, within our jurisdiction;

WHEREAS, and this resolution aim to monitor, seek help and assist families who has
children at risk or those children that has a conflict with the law;

WHEREAS, all our seven Barangay Kagawads head by the Kagawad in charge in
Committee on Women & Children Protection task to strictly monitor and ensure the actions
and interventions for the protection of children at risk that includes the following:
- All illiterate parents or caregivers are enrolled in functional literacy programme;

- All children are removed from hazardous or exploitative labour, prostitutions and
pornography;
- All children in conflict with the law are separated from adult detainees;
- All cases of physical and sexual abuse and violence are eliminated in the home
and community;
- Established and maintain VAWC desk officer.

NOW THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, be it;

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to designate our Seven Barangay Kagawads

headed by the Kagawad in charge in Committee on Women and Children Protection to
implement these rights and coordinate with all the Barangay Council for the Protection of
Children-(BCPC).
