ARTS TRIVIA

VENUE & TIME: BNHS LIBRARY AT 9 AM – 11 AM

MECHANICS

PARTICIPANTS

• For every program in JHS (STE, SPA, ETC.) and SHS (STEM, HUMMS, ETC.) there should be three
(3) participants in every grade level (7-12)

QUESTIONS FORMAT

• Each category (Easy, Medium, Hard) has 10 questions each with varying types of questions
(Multiple Choice, True or False, or Identification.
• Questions are presented one at a time.
• Participants select their answers from the given options.

SCORING

• Participants earn points for each correct answer.


• The points awarded can vary based on the difficulty level of the question:
 Easy: 1 point
 Medium: 2 points
 Hard: 3 points

DIFFICULTY SCALING

• The difficulty of questions within each category can vary to provide a balanced challenge.
• For example, Easy questions may cover basic facts, while Hard questions may require more in-
depth knowledge in identification.

TIME LIMIT

• After the question is given the participants must answer within a certain time. (5 seconds for
EASY and MEDIUM, and 10 seconds for HARD)

PROGRESSION

• Once the round is over, each of the Participant’s scores are calculated and a leaderboard is
announced.

FINAL SCORE CALCULATION

• The final score is calculated by summing up the points earned from all correctly answered
questions.
• Participants can view their scores and see how they performed in each difficulty level.

COVERAGE

Easy: Elements of Art, and the Color Wheel

Medium: Philippine National Artists and their Biography


Hard: Philippine National Artists

POSTER MAKING

MECHANICS:

1. The poster making contest is open to all grade 7-12 students of Bukidnon National High School.
2. There must only one student representative of each grade level from any programs (STE, SPJ,
SPFL, SPA, SPS, and EBEP), and any SHS Strands (STEM, HUMSS, ABM, TVL, GAS, and Arts and
Design.
3. All posters must follow the theme “Ani Ng Sining, Bayang Malikhain”.
4. Participants must provide their own materials and are required to do their posters in a ¼
illustration board.
5. The participants will be given 2 hours to finish their work.
6. The contest will be on February 16, 2024, Friday, and will take place at BNHS Gymnasium
Bleachers.
7. Grades 7, 9, and 11 will start at 1 PM and Grades 8, 10, and 12 will start at 9 AM.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING :

CREATIVITY – 30%

ORIGINALITY – 30%

IMPLEMENTATION OF THEME – 40%

TOTAL: 100%

KPOP IDOL KALOKALIKE

Criteria For Judging

A. Look alike – 50%

-The Students portray look a like features to their chosen Kpop Idol

-Only the judges will score

B. Audience Impact – 30%

-This will be measured by the number of facebook likes

C. Costume/props – 20%

Mechanics
1. Only Bonafide Bukidnon National High School Students are qualified to join the contest from (G7-
G12). Only 1 student per section.

2. Each student will pose like his/her Kpop Idol

3. Make up and costume are not required but are highly recommended.(costume is included in the
criteria)

4. Participants can use photo filter/s

5. Any size for the photo (it can be a selfie,headshot and full body shot)

VISAYAN DUET/TRIO

General Rules and Guidelines of the Contest

1. Participants can choose any Visayan song.


2. The contestants must consist of 2-3 members
3. Delivery is from 3 to 4 minutes.
4. Contestants must provide their minus one and give it to the coordinator.
5. All contestants must attend the Screening on February 15 and 16. 10 AM to 12 PM in the
morning and 1-3 PM.

Vocal Quality (40 points)

- Clarity and pitch accuracy

- Tone and timbre

Harmony (25 points for duets/trios):

- Synchronization and blend of voices

Emotional Expression (10 points)

- Ability to convey the emotion of the song

- Connection with the lyrics

Stage Presence (15 points)


- Confidence and poise on stage

- Interaction with each other and the audience

Audience Impact (10 points)

Overall Performance (20 points):

- Creativity and interpretation of the song

SAYAW NG LAHI

This “Sayaw ng Lahi” event is open for all bonafide bnhs students

Mechanics:

1. 1 group representative per grade level

2. Each group should have composition of 8-12 members, can be girls or boys

3. The dance number shall be accompaniment of any song that will fit the “sayaw ng lahi”

4. All participants shall have 3-5 mins durationof their performance

5. Each team are allowed to use props and other appropriate materials in their dance

6. Deadline of registration will be on February 18, 2024(message Coleen Galamiton or Jay Ar Paca)

Criteria for judging:

A. Performance(40%)

(Staging, Spacing Formations, Execution Showmanship, Entertainment Value and Crowd Appeal)

B. Choreography & Originality(30%)

(Dance Arrangements & Concept, Incorporating Unique and Original/ Creative Moves)

C. Theme & Music (20%)

(Musicality, Beat Techniques, Timing, Synchronization, Moves Related to the Music

D. Costume and Audience

Impact (10%)
