fungate.
Gross description
Received in formalin, labelled with patient's name and medical record number are multiple reddish
white tissue piece aggregating to 1.2 x 1.0 x 0.7cm. Entire specimen is submitted for processing in one
cassette "A".
Microscopic description
The final pathologic diagnosis incorporates microscopic examination findings.

Tissue from lateral pharyngeal wall:
Moderately to poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma.

p16 IHC is recommended.
