Recovering Stronger: The Critical Role of Learning Recovery at

Maharlika National High School

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted education across the globe, with students facing
unprecedented challenges in learning. At Maharlika National High School, we recognize the
impact of the pandemic on our student's academic progress and well-being. That is why we are
implementing a Learning Recovery Program to support our students' learning and well-being.
The Learning Recovery Program is designed to address the learning gaps caused by the
pandemic and to provide targeted support to students who need it most. The program includes a
range of interventions, such as tutoring, mentoring, and extra academic support. It also focuses
on addressing students' social and emotional needs, including mental health support and
counseling.
We believe that the Learning Recovery Program is critical to ensuring that all of our
students have the opportunity to succeed. It provides targeted support for those who have fallen
behind and helps to build a strong foundation for academic success in the future.
However, the program's success also depends on our students and their families support
and participation. We encourage all students and families to take advantage of the resources and
support available through the program. We also urge families to stay in close communication
with our faculty members and to work collaboratively to support their child's learning and well-
being.
As we continue to navigate the challenges of the pandemic, we are committed to providing
our students with the support they need to succeed. The Learning Recovery Program is a critical
part of our efforts to ensure that all our students have the opportunity to achieve their full
potential. We look forward to working with our students and families to make this program
successful.
