CTTC – Introduction
The Chapter Technology Transfer Committee
(CTTC) provides efficient and effective transfer of current
and relevant information throughout the HVAC&R industry
to and from the Chapters.

CTTC develops and maintains high quality and readily available

tools to enable Chapters to offer information and attractive
industry-related information and programs to all segments
within the HVAC&R industry
CTTC - Purpose & Functions
CTTC provides an opportunity for members to learn about the
Society and develop leadership skills. Members liaise with
other members and committees, develop and promote
committee programs, assist chapters with planning and
scheduling programs, promote continuing education activities,
update and revise committee procedures.
CTTC – Objective at the Chapter level
At CTTC, our primary objective is to plan and
organize a diverse range of Technical and
educational events and activities throughout the
year.

CTTC also heads ASHRAE's Distinguished Lecturer Program, which provides local Chapters and Student
Branches the opportunity to collaborate and hear outstanding speakers on the leading edge of technology.

• Webcasts / Tech Hours

CTTC organizes a yearly three hour webcast which provides a fresh, technical outlook on a current HVAC&R topic.
Popular topics include commissioning, IEQ, building energy performance in dedicated outdoor air systems. And
participants may earn continuing education credits for their attendance.

• Promote TC Memberships
CTTC promotes membership in ASHRAE Technical Committees. ASHRAE TC's are home to the best and
brightest, preparing Handbook Chapters, programs, technical papers in advising society on all aspects of
HVAC&R technology.
CTTC Awards
• CTTC administers Chapter, Regional and Society level awards.
• CTTC awards advance the purpose of the Society by recognizing
outstanding contribution to the HVAC&R industry.
• Chapter award winners can be submitted to Regional competitions. And
Regional winners are invited to compete at the Society level.
