A. Course number : ELT 303

B. Course Title : Advance Statistics
C. Course Credit : 3 UNITS
D. Hours/week : 3 HOURS
E. Prerequisite/s :
F. COURSE DESCRIPTION : This course on advanced statistics provides an overview and application on analyzing multivariate data for application-
oriented doctoral students. It aims not only to apply statistical procedures but also to explain how to describe an accurate set of data meaningfully, analyze
results of statistical tests in terms of their practical applications, evaluate the validity of the assumption, and appreciate the perspectives offered by different
statistical models.
This course on advanced statistics on analyzing multivariate data for application-oriented doctoral students. It aims to introduce students to explain not only to apply statistical
procedures but also to explain how to describe an accurate set of data meaningfully, the results of statistical tests in terms of their practical applications, how to evaluate the
validity of the assumption have been violated.

ll. GENERAL LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of the semester, the students can:

1. Execute statistical analyses using Excel and SPSS Software.
2. Run specific test statistics that are appropriate to a specific set of data in accordance with theory.
3. Interpret results of test statistics appropriately.
4. Use statistical concepts in reference to research findings.
5. Gather data and employ statistical analysis.
6. Write a concise report for the data analyzed.

It is required that you will have your student access to the learning management system, to follow through instructions on the lessons, assignments and
tasks, and assessment activities, on prescribed period or date. Students who do not participate in class, that is, who consistently do not complete assignments,
quizzes, respond to forums or turn in other class requirements will be dropped from the class for non-participation.
