限电/限产导致晚交货（涨价），如何和客户交流

• 和客户交流延期发货：描述情况以及原因Since two days ago, our

government has put a new policy on the power supply, we are in a serious
electricity blackout situation. This is mainly due to the extremely high price
of coal. As you may know, around 70% of our electricity is provided by the
thermal power plant. However, these plants, which su ered from the high
price of coal, are losing money for months. In China, the price of electricity
is xed by our government to maintain social stability. Therefore the
government decides to interrupt the industrial power supply and we are
a ected, unfortunately.

• 对我们的影响 In our area, we are only allowed to work on Monday and
Tuesday, the rest of the week is o . /to provide a stable power supply to
society, we will have to accept the interruption of power supply to the
industrial area. We now can only start our production from midnight to 8 am.
As a result, our production is seriously a ected and we are not able to
produce your products as per the plan.

• 我们的努⼒：However we have made the production plan as per the power
supply timing. We will put all the manpower into the allowed working
hours， even though it's at midnight, and make sure we can start
production immediately by preparing everything in advance. Some
procedures which can be replaced by manual operation will be also
considered at the time of power cut.

• 征求客户同意延期发货： Considering such a working situation and possible
delay, we have fair reasons to believe 15 days delay can be expected. You
are kindly requested to extend the latest date of shipment accordingly. We
know our clients are expecting the shipment very well and we will do
whatever it takes to nish production as soon as possible. Your
understanding and cooperation are highly appreciated!

• 新订单涨价: as a result, we cannot produce as much as before. It’s
expected that 80% of our production capacity is limited by this power cut.
With much less production output, we are forced to increase the selling
price, to keep our pro t. Therefore we cannot maintain the previous price
anymore. Please nd the attached revised price list.
