ANNEXURE-IV
Merit Calculation Formula for Session 2023-24

Example – 1
If,
Marks obtained in SSC/Matriculation = 1038/1100
Marks obtained in FSc/HSSC = 1050/1100
Marks obtained in MDCAT 2023 = 149/200
Then,

10% of SSC/Matriculation = 1038 x 1100 x 0.10

1100
= 103.80
40% of HSSC/FSc = 1050 x 0.40
= 420.00
50% of MDCAT = 149 x 1100 x 0.50
200
= 409.75
So,
Aggregate Percentage = 103.80 + 420.00 + 409.75 x 100
1100
= 933.55 x 100
1100
= 84.8700%
Example – 2
If,
Equivalence marks in O-Level Exam = 810/900
Equivalence marks in A-Level = 900/1100

Marks in MDCAT 2023 = 163/200

Then,
10% of O-Level marks = 810 x 1100 x 0.10
900
= 99.00
40% of A-Level = 900 x 0.40
= 360.00
50% of MDCAT = 163 x 1100 x 0.50
200
= 448.25
So,
Aggregate Percentage = 99.00+ 360.00 + 448.25 x 100
1100
= 907.25 x 100
1100
= 82.4772%
