Introduction

After watching the webinar entitled “Work Immersion Career Guidance”, I feel like I have gained so
many valuable knowledges from the experiences of those professionals in the video. In addition, I
think that they have shown me that everything is possible and no matter how difficult our careers are,
we can always harvest the fruit of our labors as long as we work hard for it and we do anything that
we can in order to accomplish our goals and vision.

Discussion
First, At the introductory part of the webinar, I have noticed that there are people who have the same
age as me and when they were assessed to know their chosen career, some of them cannot answer
it and that is something that we should not be ashamed of because there are people who really do
not know what they want to do and what they want to be for the rest of their lives. Additionally, they
mentioned that employers want a good communicator and I agreed because communication is
always the key to everything, especially when working with others. Next, I have watched a ted talk
video about giving career guidance to the younger generations. The speaker shared a story about the
struggles of different generations of women in achieving their goals and fighting for their rights but at
the end of the day, their hard work paid off because they never gave up and they turned despair into
hope and change into progress. Therefore, it motivates me more to continue what I am doing right
now because I already know that I will be tested and I will undergo so many difficult situations that will
going to make me give up but I will never do so. After that video, the next succeeding videos that I
have watched are from the professionals like nurse, pharmacist, civil and mechanical engineer, and
more. They have imparted their knowledge and experiences in their own respective careers and I
really enjoyed it because knowing that in the future, I am going to be like them; I will have my own
career and I will work with other people to serve our community as a civil engineer.

Conclusion
To sum up everything that has been stated, this webinar is a guide for all the students out there who
are still struggling or second guessing themselves about the career that they want to pursue and it
serves as a motivational video as well. Furthermore, I have learned that passion is really important,
we should not choose a career or job that we are not passionate about. We also should not be afraid
of taking risks because even if we failed, it does not mean we are a failure – it just means that we are
going to be redirected to where we should be and if we never stop pursuing our dreams, vision and
goals, we will soon reap the fruits of our labor and the merriment of our success.
