School Environment and Classroom Learning

Returning to the place where I learnt incalculable knowledge that I have retained to this day feels unreal. I
felt both happy and sad as I walked through the school's gate and glanced at every bit of it. Myra's childhood
memories suddenly came flooding back. I regret not being able to go back to the days when all we could think
about was how we could finish our homework and algebra problems, which we generally did with only a few hours
remaining before we handed them in. Nevertheless, despite everything, I'm still happy to be back and to be
reminiscing about everything with my friends and classmates because my four years spent here in school were
filled with many life-changing experiences. Seeing my former teachers makes me happy also for they
remembered me as one of their students back then, and they were pleased to see that I was continuing their line
of work through instructing children and providing them with information that they could use in their everyday lives.

Since I last visited, the school has undergone significant development. The school was erected on a small
plot of land that was expanded by taller structures and more classrooms. Even though every classroom has two to
three ceiling fans, only the shades of taller buildings provide a small amount of shade in the school's area, which
added warmth when the sun's intense heat hit the school's grounds. I also observe that they don't have enough
classrooms to accommodate thousands of learners, which is why some classrooms were constructed next to their
covered court. Additionally, there are not enough chairs for kids, particularly in classrooms with more than fifty to
sixty students. However, the school employed a defined A and B schedule to students in which they were only
allowed to attend their class days during their planned day in order to address the issue with a lack of classrooms
and chairs.

The name of section of the classroom can be seen from the front entrance, and all of the pupils were
seated one seat apart in accordance with school rules. They are neatly and appropriately arranged. Additionally,
the classrooms are fully labeled with the school's vision and mission statement as well as a portrait of the newly
elected president, President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos. The classroom's rules are also posted on the front,
along with the designated cleaners for the day, the pupils' birthdates, and guidelines for the Covid-19 epidemic
are adjacent. The revised SBM for teachers, also known as school-based management, is located in the back,
and there are garbage bins there that separate recyclable plastics from non-recyclable plastics and vice versa.
This is also advantageous because the classrooms' cleanliness is being upheld. In order to inspire and urge
students to pursue their goals, the Mga Bayani corner, quotes, and sayings are placed in prominent areas of the
wall.
