Job Description: Plant Engineer

The Company:

M/s Hindustan Colas Private Ltd. (HINCOL) is a 50:50 Joint Venture Company promoted by two global
fortune 500 Companies, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, a major National Oil Company in
India & Colas, SA France (Bouygues Group), Leaders in Road construction and Transport Infrastructure.
Set up in 1995, the Company is engaged in the Business of manufacturing & marketing Bitumen
Speciality Products like Cationic/Anionic Bitumen Emulsions, MS/SS Emulsions, Cut-back, Crumb Rubber
Modified Bitumen, Polymer Modified Bitumen, Road Bond, Bituclair, etc. It undertakes Road
maintenance works like Micro surfacing & Slurry Sealing. HINCOL has been actively promoting
technologically superior Products for Road construction Industry. The Products manufactured by the
Company find wide acceptance in India.
The Position:

HINCOL owns and operates 10 strategically located ISO 9001/ ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001 certified
Plants across India. As Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall `Production Process’
following SOP & HSE practices in an efficient manner. The position reports to Plant Manager and
involves working in shifts. To start with, the Place of posting may be in any of the 10 Plant Locations.

Key responsibilities:

❖ Planning and Inventory Management of Raw Materials & Finished Goods

❖ Efficient deployment, supervision and training of Manpower assigned
❖ Achieve targeted production, productivity, yield, quality & cost metrics
❖ Optimize Material & Energy Consumption as per Standard norms
❖ Co-ordinate and ensure prompt & timely execution of Customer orders
❖ Implement SOPs/HSE procedures in Production & Material handling processes
❖ Carry out transactions on SAP platform & documentation as per IMS Standards
❖ Ensure statutory compliances in areas relating to shop floor & operating areas
❖ Actively participate in continual improvement and new initiatives

Qualification:

BE/B Tech Mechanical/Chemical disciplines (full time) from reputed Institutions having consistently good
academic record. Must have good technical, planning and communication skills.

Remuneration:

Remuneration shall commensurate with experience & qualifications. The approximate CTC at starting
grade is INR 5.6 Lakhs/Annum.
