A Systematic Review on the Real-world Effectiveness of COVID-19

Abstract

The abstract is coherent and captures the synopsis of the entire study in terms of the aim

of the research, methods, findings, and recommendations. The author has articulated all the ideas

briefly, making it captivating, and the reader desires to read the entire article. Additionally, the

presentation of the statistics in the abstract proves that the research went to greater lengths to

come to the conclusion that the invention of COVID-19 was highly protective.

Introduction

The review was conducted by Zheng and co-researchers to determine the real-world

effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccines. As such, the review enriches the public and healthcare

professionals about the vaccines developed to combat coronavirus. By presenting the facts about

these vaccines, the researchers have bridged the gap of inadequate knowledge of whether these

vaccines are effective which is what the public has been waiting to know for a long time. The

previous reviews never addressed various vaccines and made profound comparisons like the one

done in this study, which is why the study is relevant. The objective aligns with the thesis

statement and is well structured – to estimate the COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness against

concerned outcomes in a real-world setting
