Jazz Introduction:

Formerly known as Mobilink, the company was founded in 1994 as a joint venture between
Saif Group and Motorola Inc. Following the merger of Mobilink and Warid Pakistan,
Mobilink was officially renamed to Jazz in 2017. As of 2023, Jazz has 70 million subscribers
in Pakistan, among which 42 million are 4G subscribers which makes us Pakistan’s largest
mobile network
It is not only the excellent technology that allows Jazz to operate as the market leader in the
country,it is our people the company has an employee base of over 3000 people with each of
them equally contributing to the success of the company
Jazz Pakistan is exloring new domains,digital financial services is one of them we have
Almost 12 million users of our digital financial service in Pakistan known as Jazzcash.

Network and Technology:


At the core of Jazz lies our Network and Technology division, which is instrumental in

Sales and Marketing:


The Jazz Sales and Marketing team holds the responsibility of elevating awareness of our
services among consumers. Through strategic initiatives, promotions, and collaborations,
they tirelessly strive to allure new customers and retain the existing ones, thereby propelling
the growth of our subscriber base.

Customer Care:
Jazz places great importance on its clientele, and our Customer Care division is wholly
committed to ensuring a favorable and gratifying experience for each subscriber. From
handling inquiries and resolving concerns to offering support for novel services, this unit
concentrates on delivering outstanding customer service.

Finance and Administration:


The Finance and Administration sector plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the financial well-

9 Case is sent to the rewards team:


Once the interview is done and the candidate is considered for the job vacancy
the case is them sent to the reward team to decide the bonuses for the employee
as salary is already negotiatedTthe basis of rewards and bonuses are decided by
the team that is basically based on 2 things
1:Internal parity:
We look back on the bonus packages of the employees who were previously
working in the same position for example if we had 3 employees of the same
position getting different Bonus amounts we average out their bonuses and the
new employee is offered this average amount
2.External Parity
External parity is basically when Jazz looks on how much the competitors e.g
Zong , Ufone and other Telecom businesses are rewarding their employees
working at the same position after looking at the competitors the bonuses of the
employees are decided
After this our team presents the whole package including salary and bonuses
infront of the selected candidate if the individual is not satisfied and expects a
lot more than what is offered by the company we do not negotiate any further
and considers other applicants for the job.
