departments, ensuring easy communication and eliminating data redundancy.

the same information in all departments.

• Customer Services: Access to real-time data means faster response to customers,

faster orders, and delivery services.

multiple software for every task and allows data transfer across numerous servers,
thus enhancing data security.

Disadvantages of Oracle ERP System

• Customization Process: Customization takes a lot of time, effort, and expertise. It

also requires a fair amount of monetary investment.

• User Participation: The successful implementation is complete when every

employee adopts the system, which in turn requires a training learning session.
Hence, making it a challenging and time-consuming process.

• Staff Change: Change in staff is a normal trend in the corporate community. Hiring
is an ongoing process. But the change in staff means changing trained employees.
The training process must be kept going every time someone new comes aboard,
as training must be in line with the business processes.

• Resistance in Sharing Information: In some organizations, there could be

resistance to sharing internal information with other departments, which directly
impacts the performance of the ERP system.

• Long-Term Results: Implementation, customization, and training process take a lot

of time and money, but the impact of the implementation can be observed in the
long term only.

III. Realization

In conclusion, Oracle Cloud ERP is a comprehensive suite of enterprise resource

planning solutions offered as a cloud service. Users often realize its benefits in terms of
scalability, accessibility, streamlined business processes, increased efficiency, better
security, and profitability. Its integrated modules cover three major areas in business,
which are: Financial, Project Management, and Procurement. Under there major areas
are activities that are efficiently done because of a modernized and customized Oracle
ERP Cloud. However, the customization of Oracle Cloud also posed as a disadvantage as
this would take a lot of time, effort and expertise from the management and the
employees. Furthermore, changing of staff is a common practice in companies, thus
training must be kept going. In addition, achieving transparency might become a
challenge because some departments might not want to share internal information.
