Podemos expressar futuro de várias formas na Língua Inglesa:
Future Simple (will + verb)
• Be Going To (be + going to + verb)
• Present Continuous (be + -ing)
• Future Continuous (will + be + -ing)
• Future Perfect (will + have + past participle)

 FUTURE SIMPLE (WILL)
Geralmente usamos will ou won’t (will not) para expressar
intenção ou previsão.

• Dan... is confident he will get his Internet addiction

under control.

 BE GOING TO
Geralmente usamos be going to para falar sobre uma
decisão ou plano.

• I’m going to try out a support group for people worried

about their Internet use.

 TAKE NOTE !
Will e Be Going To são bem similares. Para fazer previsões,
podemos usar ambas as formas, mas quando usamos be going to
há geralmente evidência para a previsão.

• He can’t wait to upgrade his phone. He’s definitely going to

buy the new model as soon as it’s released.

Há evidência de que ele planeja e parece ter pressa de obter

o modelo novo.

 PRESENT CONTINUOUS
Usamos o present continuous para falar de compromissos
pré-existentes (previamente estabelecidos)

• I’m starting next week.

 FUTURE CONTINUOUS
Usamos o future continuous para falar sobre algo em progresso
em um determinado período no futuro.

• … maybe this time next month I’ll be spending more time

with friends and family.

 FUTURE PERFECT
Usamos o future perfect para falar sobre uma ação
concluída que ocorrerá em um tempo específico no
futuro.

• This figure will have increased to six billion by 2025.
