Dear Principal Lauban;

We hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. We are writing to request the invaluable
support and partnership of the Local Government of Cotabato City in an upcoming event of significant
importance to our nation and its youth.

The National Coordinating Body of Clubs for UNESCO in the Philippines, Inc. (NCBCUP, Inc.) is on the
cusp of celebrating its 13th founding anniversary, and in line with this milestone, we have scheduled the
International Assembly of Youth for UNESCO (Y4U) with the theme "The State of the 2030 Agenda and
Beyond: Clubs for UNESCO in Action," from December 9th to 11th, 2023, at the Manila Grand Opera
Hotel.

As we approach the halfway point to the deadline of the 2030 Agenda, Y4U 2023 seeks to foster a deeper
understanding of the progress made by governments, organizations, and individuals in achieving these
goals, emphasizing the importance of the five pillars, or 5Ps: People, Planet, Prosperity, Partnerships, and
Peace.

Our goal for Y4U 2023 is to kindle the passion of youth leaders and advocates for service by equipping
them with the knowledge to address current global and local challenges. The event will feature policy
development sessions that aim to craft national plans promoting meaningful action towards the realization
of the 2030 Agenda. Additionally, Y4U participants will have the opportunity to strengthen their
camaraderie and collaboration with other Clubs for UNESCO through various academic and non-
academic competitions, such as the Quiz Bowl, Spoken Word, Poster Making, and Essay Writing.

In this regard, we are grateful to inform you that you were chosen by NCBCUP Awards Committee for
this year’s Outstanding Club for UNESCO Educator of the Year.

We kindly request your favorable consideration and approval of our invitation. Your support will
undoubtedly be a significant contribution to the success of Y4U 2023 and a testament to your
commitment to the development and empowerment of the Filipino youth.

Sincerely Yours,
NATIONAL COORDINATING BODY OF
