Developmental History
Please circle the words that best describe your child:
What previous group experience has your child had? What were your child’s reactions to these group
My child and I attended a birthday party at a play zone for our relative's child. She had a blast
playing with the balls, but I noticed she's more at ease in smaller groups. When there are
experiences?
more children around, she tends to feel hesitant.
Are there any special behaviors, fears, or anxieties we should know about when working with your child?
There are no specific anxieties or fears but I've noticed that my child tends to take some
time to warm up to new people. Eventually, though, she gradually opens up, starts
chatting, and answers their questions. She's naturally reserved and feels most at ease
around familiar faces.
Are there any developmental areas you would like us to focus on?
We hope to encourage her to become more active, focused, and willing to socialize and
play with other children.
-playing with playdough -playing quiet games -playing in small groups of children
My child is currently using: Diapers Pull ups (in training) the toilet (toilet trained)
*** Please note that children entering the 3 year old class need to be toilet trained.

Covenant Kids Discipline and Behavior Policy
At Covenant Kids Preschool, we practice the following discipline and behavior management policy:
1. Praise, reward, and encourage the children to reach their highest potential.
One of the most important factors in good discipline and behavior is open communication with parents.
We wish to work together with you as a team to help your child be successful in preschool.
Please note that Covenant Kids Preschool reserves the right to dismiss a child from the program if their
behavior is a safety threat to staff, other children, or themselves or if a child’s needs can not be met within
the program.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, the Covenant Kids Preschool Director will assess road and travel
conditions and make a determination for the Preschool Program. Announcements of openings and closings
will be made through our Class DOJO communication by teachers and/or by the primary email given on the
registration form.
Covenant Kids Preschool operates from September 3 through May 23. We do not guarantee the make up
of the days missed or refunds due to inclement weather, states of emergency, or unforeseen
maintenance issues beyond our control.
Clothing
We play. Clothes and shoes for running, jumping, and climbing are best.
Please dress your children in clothes that are easy to get off for bathroom needs.
An extra set of clean clothes or more, if necessary, should always be in each child’s backpack.
If it is possible to go outside to play, we will. Please send jackets appropriate for outside play.
We are a nut limited facility. We don’t know who might have an undetected nut allergy.
Parents provide daily snacks and if children are staying for Lunch Bunch, parents send lunch also.
For special occasions involving class-wide snacks, food must be store bought.
