Anti-Illegal Drug Operation in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.

The main purpose of this study was to assess the profile of respondents in selected

Barangay of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro in relation to level of implementation of Anti-

illegal drug operation. Specifically, it sought the profile of the respondents, the level of

implementation of anti-illegal drug operation, and the significant relationship between

these variables. The study utilized the descriptive-correlational design through the

administration of self-made survey questionnaire. There were 370 respondents who were

selected through stratified random sampling. Frequency, percentage distribution,

weighted mean and Kendall’s tau_b were used to treat the data.

Findings revealed that majority of the respondents are adults, females, college

graduates, married and have lived 13-25 years in their barangay.

Results indicated that level of implementation of anti-illegal drug operations is

highly implemented in terms of surveillance, apprehension, and collecting and handling

of evidence.

Results indicated that there is a significant relation between age towards

apprehension, educational attainment towards surveillance and years in residency to

surveillance, apprehension and collecting and handling of evidence.
