ANIMATION METHOD

1st Pass
[BLOCKING – linear, flat or stepped keys]

- define the timing


- main poses
- rough face and eye animation (suggest emotion)

2nd Pass
[EXTREMES]

- Break down poses


- Offset
- Successive breaking of joints
- Overlap and follow through (suggest)
- Tweak timing

3rd Pass
[INBETWEENS – somewhere between 2’s & 6’s]

- Create inbetween poses


- Finish offsetting body parts
- Fingers/Toes
- Check + Adjust arcs
- Finish overlap and follow through
- Add in eye animation
- Foot shuffles
- Knees

Polish Pass
- Facial animation
- Lipsync
- Muscle animation
- Secondary stuff (clothes, props etc.)
- Intersections
