Job Description
(a) To develop resource materials for catering for the special educational needs of students; (b) To provide psycho-educational ∙ Assistant Manager (EDB/ECP/139/23)
assessment and intervention for students with learning, emotional and/or behavioural difficulties; (c) To provide consultation
and support to school personnel and parents for students with diverse educational needs; and (d) To perform other duties as ∙ Temporary Teacher (Government Secondary

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree in Psychology, or equivalent; (b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary ∙ Temporary Teacher (Government Primary Sc
educational institution, or equivalent [See Note (i)]; (c) A Hong Kong master's degree in Educational Psychology (Professional hool)
Practice), or equivalent; (d) Met the language proficiency of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in
the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education ∙ Various posts in Government Secondary and
Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [See Note (ii)]; and (e) After obtaining qualification (a) above, 6 years of relevant working Primary Schools
experience of which 3 years as an Educational Psychologist (EP) in an educational setting after obtaining qualification (c)
above [See Note (iii)].? Note: (i) Applicants without a certificate in education before the date of appointment may also apply. If ∙ General Clerk (EDB/TWGPS/207/13) -(Non-
selected, they will be appointed at a lower salary than that stipulated in the advertisement as determined individually by the Civil Service)

Terms of Appointment: Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 1 year.

$450 per hour (Required to work not more than 70 hours per month)

delivered to this Bureau and will be returned to the sender or disposed of by the Hongkong Post, where appropriate.
Applicants will bear any consequences arising from paying insufficient postage. The new version of application form for
Government jobs G.F. 340 (Rev. 7/2023) has been in use with effect from 26 July 2023. Candidates who apply for
Government jobs advertised on or after 26 July 2023 should use the new G.F. 340 (Rev. 7/2023). If candidates submit the old
version form (G.F. 340 (Rev. 3/2013)), they will be required to fill in the new G.F. 340 (Rev. 7/2023) afresh and submit it within
seven days upon request. If candidates fail to submit the new G.F. 340 (Rev. 7/2023) within the stipulated deadline, their
applications will not be processed further. Applicants who are selected for interview will normally receive an invitation in about
six to eight weeks from the closing date for application. Those who are not invited for interview may assume that their
