The Philippines' political system works under the framework of a presidential,

representative, and democratic republic. Within a multi-party system, the president acts as both
the head of government and state. In this system, the three branches of government are the
legislative branch, the executive branch, and the judicial branch. Every one of them is working
together to put a government that will operate in the most efficient way possible.

The people represented by the colors blue, red, and yellow in the political cartoon are
the people of the Philippines. In the Philippines, where democracy is practiced, the people are
the ones who vote for the leader who will take the throne and rule the country. Voting is the
most straightforward and uncomplicated method of obtaining public involvement, and it gives
voters the impression that they are actively engaged in the process. As we have seen, our efforts
to solidify our strength in the course of the development of the revolutionary movement and
mass conflicts would eventually result in a direct challenge to and instability of the bourgeois
reactionary state's position of power.

Furthermore, the hand symbolizes the country's leaders, who are clutching a trophy that
denotes power. The authority of the government involves accountability and the obligation to
meet the demands of the people. On the other side, there are instances when money is required
to get authority. It is no secret that bribery takes place during elections from time to time. Aside
from that, politicians who were elected may wind up with a job in the government due to being
pushed by elected officials based on their contributions to the campaign. In other words,
politicians are using cronyism or the Padrino system to further their interests. Another sign of
corruption in the government is money, which represents it as well. Politicians may be
compensated more than what they provide to the general public. Furthermore, the dark
background and the lady justice who slightly remove her blindfold represents the oppression
and tyranny that people in a democratic nation like the Philippines are subjected to.

Thus, the legal framework (including the legislative, executive, and judicial branches),
political parties, press and interest groups, and the news media are all considered to be
components of the political system in this context. The term also encompasses all social
structures, such as those based on family and lineage, religion, and social status groups, in
addition to economic events such as revolutions, riots, and terrorism, which is a developing
phenomenon with national and worldwide implications.
