OBJECTIVES:

To apply the concepts/theories learned in the course to provide the information below
as required.

Provide the following:

1. Define a strategic plan


2. List the steps your text identifies in the strategic planning process.
3. Define the Mission, Vision, and Values elements of a strategic plan.
4. Create your own Mission, Vision and Value statements.
a. Develop objectives for the next 3 years.
b. Create goals to achieve your objectives.
c. Create action plans to achieve your goals.
d. Identify performance metrics to measure if you are on track to achieving
your goals (or not).

Your assignment is to be in business format, as follows, but not limited to:

1. Provide your personal information using the above (Changed to an italicized


heading for each section) as a guide and any other information that you would like to
provide
2. Provide charts/graphs as appropriate.
4. Bibliography (including websites) - properly cited
6. Footnotes – properly cited. You should be using your textbook as one source. You
may use other sources as well; please ensure you are using in-text citations as well
as references.
7. Appendix for supportive materials, if any, eg. charts, articles, etc.

8. Use Cover page (as attached)


9. Typed
10. Pages numbered
12. 11 point font (Arial or Times Roman)
13. 1” margins
14. Good English- Business Professional format - (including grammar, spelling, etc.)
as these will be taken into account when marking- up to 5 marks will be taken off for
improper grammar

Evaluation Criteria
a. The degree to which each question is addressed thoroughly.
b. Your demonstrated insight into the content and theories discussed in the
course and how they are used in your assignment.
c. The degree to which the report is well written. Spelling, grammar,
punctuation, and adherence to technical requirements are all important. Make
sure you allow yourselves sufficient time to edit, review, and edit your content.
d. The appropriate use of citations.

PLEASE NOTE:
Marks will be taken off for:
1. Plagiarism

2. Papers that are handed in late.

Your paper must be submitted by February 20 8:30 a.m. through blackboard.

3. Poor grammar

4. Not footnoting content that was taken from someone else/website.
