    MEC1007F_MEC1010F – WEEK 5 AUXILIARY VIEWS ASSIGNMENT

    Read the instructions carefully

    TOPICS COVERED THAT WILL BE ASSESSED:


    • Orthographic Projection
    • Circles on Inclined Surfaces
    • Auxiliary Views
    • Tangent Arcs
    • Dimension Standards

    All the orthographic views and the auxiliary view has been given to visualize the bracket and to display the
    dimensions. There is an animated video of the solid component in the resources folder to help visualize this
    component. There is also a pdf of the views which may be more clear to read.

    INSTRUCTIONS:
    Draw in SCALE 1:1.
    Draw the front and top view of the given component. Do not add any dimensions.
    Project an auxiliary view of the surface seen in the direction of Arrow A. This should be a partial auxiliary view.
    Add the dimensions of the 2 holes and their position on that surface.
    Add the projection symbol.
    Add your student number and the degree you are registered for in the bottom RH corner of the paper.

    SUBMISSION : FRIDAY 24 March in the BLUE BOX
