Academic Dental Foundation Training Person Specification

This is an ideal post for any new graduate dentist who is thinking of an academic career or is
interested in gaining experience in research. It provides an opportunity for foundation dentists to
develop research skills in addition to the competences outlined in the Dental Foundation Curriculum.

The successful applicant will usually undertake on average 1 day a week in academic training after a
period of appropriate induction, experiencing different research opportunities, and gaining some
research experience.
