Reading: A day at school

My name is Rose. Today is my first day of school. I am a new student. My father drives me to school in
the car.

I have a blue school bag. There is a book, a pencil, a ruler and some crayons in my school bag. My lunch
box is yellow. I have an apple and a banana in my lunch box. I like fruit.

I am in classroom number two. It is big and has a white board. The teacher has a desk and a chair. I have
a chair also. My teacher is very nice. I have to listen to the teacher and I have to be quiet when she
speaks. My teacher tells me to sit next to the boy. His name is John. There are 20 students in my class.

My school has different rooms. There are 15 classrooms, a library, a computer room and a music room.
There is also a small playground with swings and a slide. I play with all the girls and boys. I only play in

Welcome to Adventure Camp!

Good morning, everyone. Welcome to Adventure Camp. I´m Rachel, your camp leader. We star by
welcoming everyone and finish at about ten o´clock. This is the programme for today: We start kayaking
at eleven o´clock and finish at half past twelve. Lunch is at one o´clock. We should finish eating by two
o´clock. Rest period is between two and three o´clock. We start doing sports at three o´clock. There´s
table tennis, basketball, football and volleyball. There´s also art and crafts for those of you who like
painting or enjoy drawing. There is a snack at half past four and we star hiking at five o´clock. At half past
seven is dinner time. We´re going to cook by the campfire. For those who don´t like cooking, they can
